Jay's Law (Bike) Ride -- July 23, 2022
As you probably are aware, my husband Jay Kendall's life was ended by a distracted driver on the morning of May 21, 2014. Jay was stopped at a light on his motorcycle on his way to work. He never made it past that light.
Jay's Law is a proposed bill in the Alabama State Legislature written to bring awareness to the problem of distracted drivers and the impact they have on society. Each year we promote Jay's Law while remember Jay around his birthday with a ride and many of our riders sign Pledges saying they would not drive while distracted... in any way. Jay would have been so proud.
If you're interested in riding with us, meet at J & S Karaoke, 10303 Hwy 31, South Henceville, AL.
Registration is from 9 - 11 a.m.
Kickstands up at 11:30 a.m.
$20 per biker, $5 per rider
All proceeds go towards the Jay Kendall Memorial Scholarship Fund.
DOOR PRIZES • BBQ
Rain Date: July 30
Please enjoy some of the photos from previous rides below... and don't drive distracted.
To everyone who has helped me deal with this tragedy,
I personally thank you from the bottom of my broken heart.
